Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has urged Norway to share excess profits from oil and gas exports resulting from rising energy prices. About it with link on Bloomberg writes “Novaya Gazeta. Europe” .
“Should we pay Norway huge amounts of money for gas – four or five times what we paid a year ago? That’s crazy,” he said.
Poland will complete construction of a gas pipeline from Norway this year, which should help the country replace Russia’s fuel supply.
Earlier, Poland refused to comply with Moscow’s demand to pay for gas through ruble accounts at Gazprombank, and fuel supplies to that country were cut off. Bulgaria and Finland also refused Moscow’s terms.
