Soledad Silveyra and euthanasia: “I want to be able to choose the day of my death”

The actress arrives in Cordoba with Verónica Llinás to present the play “Dos locas de remate”. The actress gave her opinion on the subject which was installed following the request of Alain Delon.

Soledad Silveyra is this week in Cordoba to present the work “Two Madwomen” with Veronica Llinas. The performances will be repeated on April 8, 9 and 10 in the Sala de las Américas.

Beyond the success of the fun play in the city, which premiered last weekend at the same venue, telenoche referred to an interview between the two actresses.

Llinás asked Silveyra what wishes he made on his 70th birthday on February 13. And the famous actress surprised by her answer: “Keep fighting for euthanasia to be legal in Argentina.”

Solita gave her opinion on an issue that had been on the agenda for a long time, but came up again last week when French actor Alain Delon makes known his decision to undergo this deliberate intervention.

Visibly moved, Silveyra recalled her mother’s suicide and explained that they were two very different things: “I don’t want to kill myself, I want to say goodbye to my grandchildren and my children, and I would like to choose the day I die.”
