Italy wins gold and silver in the 10km of the World Swimming Championships



After winning the 1500 freestyle, Italian Gregorio Paltrinieri won the gold medal in the 10km water marathon on Wednesday (29) Paltrinieri left everyone behind on the last lap and became world champion after 1h50min56s8 of racing. The Italian Domenico Acerenza finished in second place and scored twice at Lago Lupa, with 1h50min58s2.
The bronze went to the German Florian Wellbrock, who finished the dispute in 1h51min11s2.
In addition to gold, Paltrinieri won a bronze in the relay and a silver in the 5 km.
